The TechBull - Correction Policy

The TechBull is committed to publishing accurate information across all of its content. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of truthfulness, and we see it as our fundamental duty to correct any errors we make, promptly and transparently. Maintaining the trust of our readers is paramount.

We believe that a willingness to correct the record is a sign of journalistic strength, not weakness.

Our Commitment to Accuracy

  • We will investigate any claim of a factual error brought to our attention.
  • If an error is confirmed, we will take swift action to correct the information across all platforms where it was published.
  • We will be transparent with our readers about the nature of the error and the correction made.

How to Report an Error

If you believe you have found a factual error in any of our content, please notify us by sending an email to corrections@thetechbull.com.

Please include the following in your message:

  1. The URL of the article in question.
  2. The specific information you believe is incorrect.
  3. A link to or citation of a source for the correct information.

This dedicated inbox is monitored by our senior editorial staff to ensure that potential errors are addressed with the appropriate urgency.

Types of Corrections

We distinguish between different types of corrections to ensure both clarity and proportionality:

  • Correction: A correction is issued for a substantive factual error. This includes misidentifying an individual, misstating a statistic, or inaccurately reporting a sequence of events. The article will be corrected, and a formal correction notice will be added to the bottom of the page. The notice will state the date of the correction and clearly explain what was wrong and what has been changed. For exceptionally serious errors that impact the entire premise of an article, an editor’s note may also be added to the top.
  • Update: An update is added to a story when new information becomes available that adds to or deepens the understanding of a developing story. An update does not mean the original reporting was incorrect, but rather that the story has evolved. All updates will be clearly noted.
  • Clarification: A clarification is used when the original language, while factually correct, was ambiguous or left room for misinterpretation. A clarification notice will be added to the article to provide greater detail or remove ambiguity.

Minor typographical or grammatical errors may be corrected without a formal notice.

Social Media

If we share content containing a factual error on our social media platforms, we will post a correction on that same platform. We will not simply delete the original post; we will issue a new post that links to the corrected article and clarifies the error to ensure the correction reaches the same audience.

A Note on Takedown Requests

Our policy is to correct the journalistic record, not to erase it. Therefore, we do not grant requests to “unpublish” or remove articles from our website. We believe it is our responsibility to stand by our reporting and maintain an accurate, transparent public record.
